On July 19th, "Fables Against Gravity" is going to be available through Amazon and several other sites as an MP3 download album. Please note that this version is going to include both the original unadulterated "Who Is This Who Is Coming?" and the Optophonica Antropologic Remix as created by the Catalogue of Wonders.
The long-awaited compilation album featuring an exclusive contribution by yours truly is now ready to be ordered through the Catalogue's blogspot. Please use the order form on the right of that site.
As should be obvious from the pictures posted, this record is not only going to feature some truly amazing music by a variety of aspiring artists from all over the globe (including Brazil, Macedonia, and Russia) but some equally beautiful packaging to boot.
This is a mash-up collage of the themes and compositions comprising the forthcoming Catalogue of Wonders compilation album, "Fables Against Gravity" (to be released in late April), including a contribution by Phirnis entitled "Who Is This Who Is Coming?". Details on how to obtain a copy of this release should be available soon.
"Portugiesische Galeere" was included in a recent podcast by Rare Frequency called "Snow Red". It's another instance of Aquatic Noise taking over the airwaves, I suppose. In any case, it sure is nice being featured alongside Maja Ratkje and Lasse Marhaug's "Music for Gardening", not to mention the nice tunes of oriental heritage that came before. Highly recommended listening.
Catalogue of Wonders have just included "Qualle" in their best-of-the-year compilation mix, aptly titled "Aural Mass 2009", which can be found at their soundcloud profile.
This site is going to feature some of the music produced by myself over the course of the last seven years. Most of the pieces to be posted here have never been released before.
Recorded summer of 2003 and subsequently given to a small number of friends, it was decided to start up the website at hand by posting what is among the very earliest of musical creations of mine, a track which is called "Eisberg".
